    Hi,

    installation of Metadata Essential (downloaded today) breaks with error

    Fatal error: Class 'Brivium_BriviumHelper_Installer' not found in /vagrant/data/www/xenforo/html/library/Brivium/MetadataEssential/Installer.php on line 3

    Is this a known bug that will be fixed soon?

    Thanks for the quick fix! Installation starts up fine now.

    The only issue we have now seems to be the addon's license check: Installing the addon (professional license) on a local machine (we use hostname 'xenforo.local.de'), the license check fails with "Invalid information". We need to install the addon on a local machine due to our development environment...

    How can we fix this?

    but why is this limitation active even for a unlimited hosts license? Isn't it possible to deactivate this limitation for unlimited Hosts License?

    If we can't install the Addon at localhost (our development environment) we can't use it at all...

    Our company's external IP is 213.95.17.182

    Hopefully your addon will poll your server for license check? Since our local machines can't be accessed from outside our companies network there would be no way to connect to our network from some external tool to make the license check...

    thanks again for your support. Installation works fine for development environment now.

    Unfortunately there are still two issues left:

    - No userrights are listed for the MetaData Essentials addon

    - All options to set metadata tags for an explicit thrad / post (like shown in the addons screenshot) are missing:

    metadata_missing

    Any idea how to solve those issues?

    Currently, we provide only way to set thread's metadata by click on Thread Tools > Edit thread. We will bring your request on next upgrade version.

    but shouldn't it already be possible at "edit thread" from board view as shown on the screenshot provided?

    At least, MetaData Essentials screenshots shows additional options at that point:

    metadata_options

    Or from where do I have to access the "edit thread" option?


    Any idea why no rights are shown for MetaData essential addons in rights management?

    You should grant permission to edit Metadata by Go to AdminCP -> User -> User Group Permission to set permission for each usergroups.
