I have been testing your add-on Credits Media Integration. You added a new feature that i am interested in.

So everytime someone views my media. I will recieve some credits. Great.

But i have some questions about it.

My mission: I want to give members 5 credits everytime someone views their media.

    1. Media View Count? What does this screen mean?

    I don't understand. Should i put 0 or 1

    2. How does "Get Media View" function

I already know that If "user1" uploads an image and "user2" views the image.
Then "user1" will recieve 5 credits,

    a) If "user1" uploads an image and If user2 views the same image 5 times within 1 hour or 5 hours or within 24 hours
What will happen? Does user1 recieve 25 credits. Or he has to wait 1 day then after 1 day he can recieve 5 credits for the same image?
Is there a time limit or no time limit.

    b) What if "user1" uploads an image and looks at his own image.
Will he recieve 5 credits for viewing his own image? Or recieve credits for view own image has been disabled?

    3. How long does it take to recieve an alert after someone views my media
I'm not sure what the minutes or hours. But i noticed recieving an alert. it is not instant

    4. Why does it take a long time to recieve alert for "Get Media View"
I test this event between user1 and user2. After user2 views user1's media.
user2 does not recieve an alert instantly. It takes a long time to recieve alerts.

    5. Is there a setting to choose which media to give credits for?
get media view (both images & videos)
    get image view (image only)
    get video view (videos only)

    6. What happens when a robot/google looks at a meida.
Will someone recieve credits because a "robot" looked at the image?

    7. Is there an permission to disable moderators from making the "view count up"?
    Moderators: bypass media count

    Ok thanks.

    You can tell him this:

The reason I ask this is because I installed this on my forum. And about every hour i get alot of alerts. In 1 hour i have 100 alerts.

But what is strange is I don't know where these "Get Media Alerts" are coming from it doesn't say from who or what media it comes from.
Are they coming from robots? from guests? from moderators, from me?
    Which media? I don't know
Guests and Robots are not members so i think their action should have no result.

But what is strange is that.. I have your View Full Size Media Permission.

So guests and members are not allowed to view images and I don't have any videos. In fact no one is allowed to view my images unless i add them to a special usergroup. So really. i should not be recieving any alerts, So i don't know why i am recieving 100 alerts.

    ss tttt uuuu

So far in half a day i have 480 "get media view" alerts. I think it is a bug.

Thank you and Happy Holidays. 6518-2864ab4ffa8f62bb869dcbad9d58b39d

    Hi, @serverguy ,
Now, I will answer your question. Thanks for your patience.
oh, In the current version, we integrated the two events are "View full size of media" and "Media get views". if you want give member credits everytime someone views full size their media, you use "View full size of media" event. And, If you want to give credits to authors when their media have sufficient amounts of certain views, you use "media get view". For your mission, we will consider and can add in next update!

This option allow you input a number value that will be applied with "media get view" event. For example, if you want to media that have 1000 views will be received credits, you need change value in “media view count” option to 1000.

"Get Media View" function used in "Media get view" event. After each hour, system automatically updated, Media, that have views greater or equal "media view count" value will be received credits then they are marked to not add credits for the next views.

That a good idea! We will note them for next update.

Can you please make it compatible with add-on: View Full Media Permission

I don't want to give members credits everytime they use Capture view full size of media.

    I use add-on.

So every time they view media. I want them to recieve credits.

    I don't need this feature

I'm still confused about how it works.

Because this doesn't explain why i have "400 Alerts"

Why do i have 400 alerts? I use add-on View Full Media Permission

So no one have permission to see my media but i am still recieving alerts

    Dear @serverguy,
We’ll consider to add such a functionality with next update. Unfortunately right now it’s not available by default.

If you put 0 or 1 in "media view count" field of option, each hour, after system automatically updated, all of media that have views is greater or equal 0 or 1 will receive credit, alert. In case, i think we'll have some changes in content alert and "Media get view" function to you can clearly.

#6. I think we'll consider to add another event for this action. Let us try next update.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let we know.
